I left a message for a return call on Monday- but I will call again first thing in the a. I have already spent considerable time with the HOPE folks, about three months ago, who said I do qualify for HAMP. We did the 3 way call (B of A gave the Hope Counselor no more attention or respect than they gave me). My counselor emailed me all her calculations and recommedations, and provided the same to B of A.
She tried a 3 way with B of A a few times more- they ignored her similar to the way they ignored me. I had no idea that I was suppose to have the opportunity to provide HAMP with the documents they say they i need cash fast never got. He is obviously anxious for me to get far away from HAMP quickly. Now I hear that Chase, B of A, and others have stopped the foreclosures indefinately since they have been caught in fraud..... I hope this blows up in their faces and they all go belly-up, and all homeowners get their homes with the notes paid for as compensation for the pain and suffering they put us through. The same day I got a letter from EMC Mortgage telling me my application for MHA loan mod has been denied. Also they say that I am not qualified for MHA or ANY OTHER loan mod program so I must decide if I can pay up past due amount, do a short sale or get forclosed on.
I was sent an application package, was told how to fill it out and i need cash fast to provide every item on the checklist without fail. Was told that after 3 months of making payments on time, in full, in certified funds I would be approved for permenent mod. After the 4th payment via certified bank check I called to inquire the status. Was told they were a little backed up and to continue making modified payment amount, so I did. Begining of 5th month I was asked to resubmit all docs again since the ones they had were too old.
This past August I got a letter of denial telling me there was a lien on my property.
Dont you think their i need cash fast underwritters should have discovered this a year ago?
Well anyway I cleared up the lien, re submitted a full application with a letter of satisfaction attached. So what did they do with all that stimulus money that was supposed to help us?

Since 2007, the LoanSafe forums have helped millions of homeowners over the last 13 years either save their homes with a loan modification, obtain a short sale, forbearance, or walk away legally from their underwater mortgages. The property that was recently given approval for a tier 1 trial has both myself and a family member (who has not had a tier 1 approval before).
It has been found that more than one tier 2 modification is acceptable. I just assume have them try to go for the tier 2 or in-house.
I brought this up to the lender and they said not to worry. They indicated if there was an issue the underwriters would have not offered this latest tier 1 modification trial. They were not very forthcoming on information and had the attitude of why are you not happy with your new trial offer. On that note, are there any foreseeable issues with accepting a tier 1 under the conditions mentioned above? Maybe the reason there is not an issue is due to my family member not having ever accepted a tier 1 in past.
Please Read our As far as your question about tier 1. I have not seen it stated anywhere that you cannot have another tier 1 as long as the 1st tier 1 is in good standing.
I have found that if you fail tier 1, you cannot, in some cases get it again. The info was found on the main HAMP gov website and various other places referencing tier 1 guidelines. The tier 1 program comes with a payment incentive from the government (I believe) for up to 5 yr of on-time payments. Yes, it is known as Pay for Performance incentives which are supposed to be at least a six percent reduction and will be forfeited should the borrower become 90-days or more delinquent at any time. The incentive will be accrued monthly and applied to principal annually. The Pay for Performance incentive will be applied first to the interest-bearing principal balance on the Mortgage and then to any principal forbearance amount (if applicable).
