I am so sorry that you have been put through this and were unable to utilize the KYHC funds to help you out while your husband was direct lenders for payday loans training.
Unfortunately participation in the KYHC is voluntary for the lenders, you can try contacting the executive team at WF to see if anything can be done to except these funds on your behalf. Then I received a FedEx stating that BofA had tried unsuccessfully to reach me several times (they called once and left a message while I was at work). The Appeals rep from the Office of the President then stated both emphatically and very positively that my investor is Wells Fargo, and that while Wells Fargo was not allowing modifications in the past, Wells Fargo is in fact doing these modifications now.
While I necessarily seemed skeptical, given my long experience with this, when queried further on this, the rep continued to reassure me that Wells Fargo is indeed doing these modifications now.
